RUSH Alzheimer’s Disease Center Educational Programs

The RUSH Alzheimer’s Disease Center provides educational programs to churches, senior groups and other groups to educate individuals about Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias, caregiving, research opportunities and more.

Falls Prevention

Called “A Matter of Balance,” this evidence-based program teaches older adults practical strategies to prevent falls.

Health Legacy Program

Partnering with faith-based organizations and local community centers, RUSH helps women from under-resourced communities who are at risk for diabetes and other chronic diseases.

Chronic Disease Self-Management Program

These interactive, six-week workshops at RUSH help those with ongoing health conditions maintain control and confidence in managing their health while doing the things that matter most in life. Participants learn about the importance of healthy eating, physical activity, stress management and more.
